DwellingsNow began as “Dwellings” in 2009 under the auspices of Alternative Missions. In 2021; With growth and expanded purpose, DwellingsNow was formed as a stand-alone organization. We spent most 2022 transitioning and preparing for growth into the future. 2023 will be our first year operating solely under our new nonprofit corporation DwellingsNow and has turned looks like it will be our most productive year to date as far as building homes is concerned. We are currently building homes on the Island of Roatan, Honduras as well as for peasant coffee workers on the Mainland of Honduras and Colombia. We are thankful for the many teams and friends that have donated money and time to build homes for those in need. It has been truly inspiring. We are always challenged by the stories and needs of families with inadequate housing while at the same time encouraged by those who step up to join us to help. We are planning for thousands of homes to be built in the future in our current and new locations as opportunities present themselves.
